Trouble In the Belly

What Am I? - May

ImageThis month's "What Am I?" contest gets lively with livery.

While waiting at Honolulu International Airport on a beautiful Friday, this unusual paint job suddenly appeared on the ramp before our eyes.

So this month, we want to know which airline it belongs to. Bragging points if you know the type of aircraft, too.

The first person to tell us wins an Archer Bravo Aviation mousepad.

Stumbling Upon Stubby

ImageLast month's "What Am I?" contest was so large you couldn't miss it.

Archer Bravo member Sean Thomas was the first to correctly guess the pictured aircraft is an Airbus A380 on the ramp at Los Angeles International Airport.

And when asked if the world's largest passenger jet will be successful, Sean was quick to note: "Yes, if oil prices continue to rise. Every sheik in the Middle East will have one."

Good one, and congrats Sean. An Archer Bravo Aviation mousepad is on the way.

Where Am I? - May

ImageWe haven't been to the beach in a while, so let's head oceanside for our latest "Where Am I?" contest.

It's on the West Coast, and getting in can be tough because of fog that sometimes shelters the short runway from any visitors (did you catch the hint?)...

The first person to name this location gets an Archer Bravo Aviation t-shirt and bragging rights in next month's newsletter.

Blame Canada

ImageLast month's "Where Am I" contest did not originate in Canada, despite its name.

Archer Bravo member Jon Marshall was the first to correctly identify the picture taken over the LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT).

No joke, the "LA" portion of the airport's name was added in 2006 to avoid confusion with the Canadian province.

Congrats Jon, an Archer Bravo Aviation t-shirt is on the way.
